Event Management

Duration:  Saturday mornings for 3 weeks, or Saturday Afternoons for 4 weeks, or Monday & Wednesday evenings for 4 weeks

About this programme
This programme will equip students with fundamental knowledge and skills which can be used as the foundation for planning an event.

Events range in size, content and presentation.  They may range from large scale events such as festivals, conferences and conventions to smaller intimate parties and meetings, to name a few.  No matter the size of an event, the “basics” of event management are virtually the same as they form the foundation on which an event is planned and executed.

Making travel arrangements for delegates and guests of an event is often coordinated or overseen by the event manager.
